The game

What Is Colony Flow?

Colony Flow is a colour puzzle built around an ant colony and five slots. Each level shows a pixel picture made of coloured blocks, and below it a tray of cubes stamped with numbers. Tap a cube and its ants march off to fetch the matching blocks.

Everything the game asks of you is on one screen, and that screen never changes shape. Read it once and you can read all 545 levels.

  1. 1Level & controlsLevel number, pause, and the 2× speed toggle you will tap constantly on the long levels.
  2. 2The pictureThe pixel artwork, built from coloured blocks. Your goal is to leave this canvas empty.
  3. 3The holeWhere the ants deliver what they carry. A block only clears when the ants reach it.
  4. 4Five slotsThe hard limit. Five cubes in play at once. Fill all five with dead ends and the level fails.
  5. 5The cube trayYour choices. The number is how many ants the cube carries — not how many blocks it clears.

The Four Rules Behind Every Level

1

Tap a cube to send ants

Each level shows a pixel picture with a stack of numbered cubes below it. Tap a cube and its ants march out to carry away every matching pixel block they can reach.

2

The number is how many ants it holds

A cube showing 12 carries 12 ants. It only disappears once all of them have finished — until then it keeps sitting in a slot, which is exactly why the queue jams.

3

Only five slots — fill them and you lose

The queue holds five cubes. If all five are stuck with no reachable targets left, the level fails. Never start a colour you cannot finish.

4

Ants path like a matching game

Ants do not need the outermost block — if a clear straight route exists between the cube and a matching pixel block, they take it. That is the freedom you plan around.

What a Walkthrough Actually Tells You

Two things decide whether a level goes smoothly: which colours it is built from, and the order those colours come off. Here is Level 24 as the level page renders it — first the colour stack, then the order the ants actually clear it in.

Common questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Colony Flow?

Colony Flow is an ant-colony colour puzzle by ABI Games. Each level shows a pixel picture built from coloured blocks, with a tray of numbered cubes underneath. Tap a cube, its ants march out, and every matching block they can reach is carried away — clearing the picture block by block.

How many levels does this guide cover?

This walkthrough covers all 545 levels, numbered 1 to 560, plus 36,675 key frames captured from the real playthroughs.

What does the number on a cube mean?

It is how many ants that cube carries. The cube stays in its slot until every one of those ants has finished, so a big number can hold a slot for a long time. That is the single most common reason a level jams.

Why did I get stuck with all five slots full?

The queue holds five cubes. If none of the cubes you picked have a reachable matching block left, the board locks and the level fails. The fix is to only start a colour you can finish — the level pages spell out the order the colours actually clear in.

Does this guide have answers for every level?

Yes. Every level has the removal order written out step by step, the colour sequence explained, and a video walkthrough embedded on the page. Nothing is locked behind a paywall.

Do I need to watch the video, or is reading enough?

Either works. The written order covers the same sequence as the video, and it is easier to follow when you want to check one specific colour. Watch the video when you would rather see the tapping rhythm in order.
